Halfway included former Philence members Geoff Garnett, Kyle Caprista, and Clipper Ford as well as accomplished musician and producer Danny Blau. They played several shows with Thought Crime and Fingertight and brought their unique brand of progressive-tinged pop rock to the punk and metal-dominated bay area scene.
Garnett went on to play with Farewell Graceland, also featuring Aaron McVeigh (Thought Crime, Sleep in Fame, Foxy Shazam) and Brandon Hall (Exposure).
Aside from local artists Elliot Randall, Megan Slankard, We Became Owls, Jesse Brewster, and Victoria George, Caprista has also played with Phil Lesh (Grateful Dead), Pat Monahan (Train), Bret Michaels (Poison), Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray), Steve Harwell (Smash Mouth), Coolio, Tone Loc, and the Sugar Hill Gang. He has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and done lots of studio work.
