A few words on why we've been pretty quiet as of late. Our primary videographer was involved in a motorcycle accident in July, which fortunately did not lead to any series permanent injury, but unfortunately did result in the destruction of much of our video equipment, including our main handheld camera. We've been slowly replacing everything as insurance settlements have been paid out, and should be back filming some shows in the next couple of months. Oddly enough, the incident occurred just a few miles from the official site of SBP's founding, US 101's exit 667a.
In a separate event that unlike the other was totally our fault, the GoPro we generally use for those awesome behind-the-drummer shots got wet and it fried the shutter button, so we're looking to replace that in the coming weeks as well.
We'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that you can support our work and cover these unanticipated costs by making a purchase from our Cafepress shop (which has the added benefit of free publicity for us) or making a contribution through PayPal. We'll send anybody who does so some stickers with which to adorn the dark, vomity corners of your favorite divey music venue. That, and our eternal gratitude.
Thanks for your patience, we'll have some new stuff for you sooner than later.
We have a bunch of new items for sale at our Cafepress store. We've kept our cut of the proceeds very low, but every sale gives us at least a couple bucks to help pay the bills.
